Artificial grass was produced in our factory as far back as 1969 which makes
it the longest established factory of its kind in Britain. Originally it produced
artificial grass matting for display use and was enjoying a significant export
trade by as early as 1971. Artificial grass production in the 1970s, of course,
was not as it is now. Subsequent years have witnessed significant developments
both in terms of the product’s popularity and versatility and also in
terms of machinery, materials and production techniques. Through investment
and a genuine commitment to providing a product that compliments today’s
lifestyle,
our factory now manufactures a quality product for a wide range of applications – and
very competitively priced.

Based in Cumbria (a county whose natural grass has one of the
finest reputations around for sports), we currently enjoy excellent
manufacturing space and office buildings alongside a compliment
of well trained manufacturing and sales personnel. We design
and produce a wide range of artificial grass products as we
supply not only the consumer market for gardens, lawns, play
areas and landscaping but also the highly demanding sports
market where quality of product specification is crucial.
Quality Control plays a major role in our manufacturing – we
employ stringent and detailed inspection checks throughout
the process and use only top quality yarn, primary backing
and latex.
We manufacture all products to meet the requirements for British Standards
for porosity. A good example of what we aim to achieve
is our 40mm Lifestyle® Play product which holds certification to
BS5750
for porosity and
BS4790 Class 2 Fire Resistance. It also has Critical
Fall Height (CFH) certification. We can offer Critical Fall Height to meet BS
EN 1177 on some of our products but usually it's part of a specified
system. Details on request.
