Artificial grass is being used by an increasing number of schools and for a range of uses: outdoor general play areas, sports fields, pitches and some indoor facilities. Many schools have installed a multi use games area with an artificial grass surface. This accommodates a range of sports including football and hockey which can be played just about all year round. So fewer schools matches are cancelled due to bad weather.
